Established in 2016, Homeland Language Services has grown exponentially, now boasting a diverse team of over 1,500 interpreters and translators fluent in numerous languages. Founders’ Vision and Dedication
Homeland Language Services is a family-owned and operated global provider of high-quality, certified interpreting and translation services.
Established in 2016 by three brothers whose family immigrated from Peru to the USA, we deeply understand the challenges of immigration and the importance of language services.
Reflecting on the company’s remarkable journey, CEO and Co-Founder Christian Lanazca shared, “Luis and I have been involved in the interpreting and translation services for 15 and 20 years, respectively. We have had the privilege of working with federal agencies such as Homeland Security, DEA, FBI, the Sheriff Department, and DOD, providing top-notch interpreting services. Our roles as Intelligence Linguist Analysts have seen us work on high-profile federal cases including money laundering, human smuggling, prostitution, and drug cartels, which took us across states like New York, Chicago, San Diego and others.”
Christian continued, “Ernesto’s extensive background in logistics and operations, coupled with his service as a U.S Army Combat Veteran, has been instrumental in our success. With his experience and service, we obtained our Disabled Veteran Certification, strengthening our operations and logistics capabilities.”
A Journey of Growth and Excellence
From its inception, Homeland Language Services has continuously evolved. Initially starting with a handful of languages, our portfolio now includes services in over 100 languages, showcasing our expansive growth. The number of interpreters has grown by 300%, and our clientele now features an extensive roster of major Federal and State agencies, private sector clients, and international partners.
From Vision to Reality
The idea of starting Homeland Language Services was born out of a shared vision to leverage their extensive experience and network of over 1,500 government-cleared linguists. “We realized the potential of our collective expertise and connections. Our first contracts were with state and private entities, which gradually expanded to include Federal contracts and medical interpretation services. Achieving our GSA schedule certification was a pivotal moment, allowing us to bid for federal contracts more effectively,” Christian explained.
Today, Homeland Language Services proudly serves several Veteran hospitals nationwide, Homeland Security, The United States Department of Defence-United States Navy, United States Army, FEMA, airports, Texas Border Patrol, among other, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality services.
